Lionel Messi’s hat-trick for Barcelona against PSV Eindhoven had one upside for the Dutch giants: at least they only have to face the Argentine once more. Hosting Inter won’t be easy, but at least it won’t be Messi. Inter do though have an Argentine hitman of their own in Mauro Icardi, the striker who netted in the 2-1 win over Tottenham.Inter Milan vs PSV Eindhoven Live Match Streaming | Uefa Champions League 2018/19

In Hirving Lozano, PSV likely have the best player on the pitch for this match. The Mexican international had been linked with the likes of Barcelona during the summer, and it’s easy to see why. He is a constant menace that has already scored five times in the Eredivisie this term. Midfielder Gaston Pereiro is another to keep watch on. He’s scored five times, though three have come from the spot, but it is his assists and buildup play that will prove more important here.
Inter took a bit of a risk at the weekend to rest their key men, but it paid off for them and now they will have them fresh and have three points in Serie A in the bag. Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic are the two that will be roaring to here. The former scored the equalizer against Spurs with five minutes left to play at the San Siro, and it’s his goals that continue to drive Inter. Meanwhile, the latter comes off a fine World Cup and will be looking to keep up strong performances both in front of goal and in terms of laying the ball into Icardi’s path.
PSV continue to set the bar in Dutch Eredivisie play this season. After winning the title last term, the defending champions have went out and won their opening seven league fixtures to give them a five point gap over rivals Ajax already. It’s been very much an ideal start, and what it does is give them the opportunity to really attack in Europe. While the task is going to be tough given the toughness of the teams in this group, this is still a good team. Against Inter, they will be able to trouble, but ultimately shouldn’t pose a real threat to take points.
Inter Milan’s third straight Serie A win, and their fourth in the last five matches, has seen them move up to fourth in the division on 13 points early on. The Black and Blue have began to hit their stride, and though they won’t be challenging Juventus for the title in Italy, they will have optimism that they can be much more secure in their hunt to clinch European football for next season this go-around. With that win over Spurs in the first group fixture, they showed a real resolve and character that should bode well on the road to PSV.Phillips Stadion will host Wednesday’s football game between PSV and Inter. PSV have been scoring goals for fun in the Eredivisie this season, but they were hammered by Barcelona 4-0 at Camp Nou in the opening match of their Champions League campaign. The Dutch champions, though, are definitely capable of matching Inter in front of home fans and we predict that they are going to grab something from their second group game. The Nerazzurri did well to beat Tottenham at their Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in their first group match, but seeing that PSV are tough to beat at home, we predict that the two sides are going to play out a draw in Wednesday’s clash. In each of their previous two meetings in the Champions League under 2.5 goals were scored and, taking everything into account, a low-scoring affair is on the horizon.
The 26-year-old Dutch striker Luuk de Jong is considered one of Europe’s deadliest strikers with his incredible return of goals in games he spends playing. Luuk de Jong began his football career at De Graafschap in 2008, but moved on to Twente only a year later. The tally of 39 goals in 76 league appearances earned him a transfer to Borussia Monchengladbach, but his spell in Germany ended in disappointment. Bundesliga club attempted to revive his career by sending him out on loan to Newcastle United but his stint with the English club yielded even more disappointment and concluded in utter disaster with De Jong playing 12 games without scoring a single goal for the Magpies. A return to Netherlands and PSV Eindhoven turned out to be a proper hit for the 26-year-old striker who has restored his scoring touch with more than 50 goals for the Boeren after less than 90 games.
Internazionale Milano, known as Internazionale, Inter or Inter named Milan, is a football club from Italy, founded on March 9, 1908 by a number of “rebels” who did not like in the regulations of the Milan Cricket and Football Club, now known as AC Milan. The main objection was that no foreign players were allowed. In 1928 the club merged with US Milanese and strongly entered a time when Ambrosiana-Inter survived. The club, nicknamed the Nerazzurri or the blue / blacks has had many successes. This is how Inter Milan won 18 national titles, seven times the Italian Cup, the UEFA Cup 3x, and 3x times the Champions League, formerly known as the European Cup I.
